Facilities
The Hostel is a three storey building with separate levels for Boys and Girls. The living comprises of Four seater dormitory equipped with two wash basins, two bathrooms and two toilets. Each student is provided with a bed, mattress, pillow, complete bed linen, blanket (in winter), a cupboard, a study table & chair, and a table lamp. Towels, curtains, buckets and mugs are also provided. Each room is properly fly-proofed with provisions for mosquito repellants. Solar heaters are available to provide hot water all the year round. No child is permitted to use the room or toilet of the other students. Each floor of the hostel remains under 24 hour watch by the attendants.
Food
MBIS has contracted Ms Radhakrishna Hospitality Services Ltd. (RKHS) for all catering and housekeeping requirements. Students have a choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, having right mix of nutrition and variety. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner is served hot in the dining hall. During meal time, aspects like table manners, etiquette, etc. is encouraged by the house parents.

Prep
Prep is mandatory for all boarders. The study halls have been equipped with computers and internet facilities. Access to the internet is supervised to prevent misuse. Children are free to study, read or play indoor games in the study halls. Those students who wish to study late can do so, with the permission of the head Hostel in the study halls to avoid disturbance to their room-mate.

Recreation Room
A recreation room has been set up within the hostel complex with a small library, a television, a video player, a music system and indoor games e.g. Table Tennis, Pool Table and a small gymnasium. Students are free to use the facilities of the recreation room during their free time.
