Events

MBIS held its “Event” at the end of the school year 2002-2003. It was a celebration of the students talents, ab evening for parents and friends to soak in the atmosphere of the school, and a graduation day for both the PYP year 5 and the MYP year 5.
Diwali Celebrations: These were held towards the end of the first term in October 2003. as part of their Community and Service activities, students of MBIS invited students from a local school in the area to celebrate the Hindu festival of lights.

Students from the MYP enacted the Ramayana and the story of Durga in their own inimitable style.

Students from both schools engaged in Visual and Performing Arts activities together.

The  day ended with a special meal shared by all.

PTFA Christmas celebrations were held on the 5th of December 2003 . A wonderful evening of music , dance, and a turkey dinner, full of Christmas cheer and the warm spirit that is so much part of the MBIS family atmosphere.

The Year Book is a school record of important events, achievements and celebrations put together by the staff and students at the end of an academic year. The colourful  layout and text captures the school spirit  and also brings out the essence of  school life in MBIS.

The News letter is a regular publication. The staff of the news letter consists of interested students and a teacher  editor. The news letter reports on activities of interest to the community and gives information about upcoming events. The current newsletter is available on our website(here put the website address).

After school activities The school offers several after school activities for both PYP and MYP students an opportunity to pursue and develop their interests and hobbies.These are run and supervised by teachers and experts in the field.

They include:

  • Western Drums
  • Tabla
  • Bharatnatyam
