Student Council

The Student Council in the MBIS is an elected group of representatives from Year 1 to Year 5 of the MYP. It is governed by a constitution whose main objective is to enhance the quality of student life at MBIS.

Through their many activities such as sports and special evenings they not only foster school spirit but also promote better understanding of the many cultures represented in our school.

The social involvement of the Student Council extends to Community Service in and outside the school. The financial support for all their activities come from fund raising events such as bake sales and fetes and also from the proceeds of the tuck shop which is managed solely by them.

The office bearers of Student Council are the President, Secretary and Treasurer and elected representatives from each class. Meetings are held once a week and class representatives report back to their own class at home room time.
