Welcome to Mercedes-Benz International School and welcome to Pune. We aim to help you make the best of the educational opportunity that Mercedes-Benz International School can offer you.

Mercedes-Benz International School provides students a learner-focused, rigorous and balanced education which draws on the best pedagogical methods in international practice including an emphasis on inquiry. Learning is focused on knowledge, skills as well as attitudes. Encouraging responsibility is a key objective in developing personal, communal and global awareness that creates caring and reflective individuals. We celebrate our diversity through inclusive education, creating tolerance for others, developing the power of our own and additional languages, and fostering global awareness. Our appreciation for our own and others’ beliefs and cultures is key to our community.

Providing a top-quality, international education, Mercedes-Benz International School is a fully authorised member of the International Baccalaureate Organisation offering three IB Programmes. The Primary Years Programme is provided for children in the Primary School (3 – 11 years of age). The Secondary School consists of the Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 – 16 years and the Diploma Programme, which provides the final two years of education (16 – 18 years of age). This school is also fully accredited by the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Mercedes-Benz International School has a mixed-ability student enrolment of just over 350 students across all grades. We value the advantages of being a small school with a family feel, where we know each other and have a strong sense of community. We view the partnership of teachers and parents as key to the success of all learners.

We welcome families from all over the world and hope that you will use this website to learn more about us. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information (info@mbis.org)
