PS2 have been inquiring into living things in their unit ‘Sharing the planet’ and Thursday 30th March was our ‘Celebration of Learning Day’. The children were very excited to showcase their learning and especially proud of all the hard work that they have put into the garden makeover. The garden looks inviting and we have had many visitors such as ants, bees, butterflies, and dragonflies, which was one of the objectives of the garden makeover. All of this would not have been possible without a lot of collaboration within our MBIS community. PS2 parents, the PTA, gardeners, electricians and admin staff have all made significant contributions. However, the biggest applause and thanks go to our children. Without their curiosity, enthusiasm, creativity and cooperation, a beautiful garden would have remained just a dream project. We hope that this little project will inspire our young learners to be caring towards other living things and become lifelong advocates of nature.
